Join the PCT in Voting for Three Land Conservation Articles at Town Meeting on Monday, April 4th, 6pm Town Hall
ARTICLE 18
The PCT supports Article 18 which directs the purchase of 288 Bradford Street for the development of affordable housing as well as the conservation of woodlands and wetlands for passive recreation, with the additional vision of a trailhead leading to the rare White Cedar swamps from Bradford Street.
article 28
The PCT supports this funding for the demolition and clean-up of the recently purchased conservation parcel on Atkins Mayo Road. Once debris and hazards are removed, it can be reimagined for passive recreation by the public and become part of our protected trail system.
ARTICLE 29
The PCT supports the preservation and protection of 63-R Howland Street (Site Y), which sits along the Old Colony Nature Pathway. This parcel includes two valuable wetlands as well as semi-forested dunelands where vegetation has taken hold. A recent third-party environmental study recommended this property be protected.
